Specializing in residential construction on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Waterfront Builders has made a lasting impression on the island with their building expertise and their quality craftsmanship. While many of our projects are located in Edgartown, our job sites span the entire island, also including Vineyard Haven, Oak bluffs, Chilmark, West Tisbury, and Aquinnah.
From new constructions to historical restorations, home renovations, and personalized design programs, we offer comprehensive services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Located in downtown Edgartown, our office serves as the central hub for our operations. This strategic location allows us to remain fully engaged in every aspect of our projects, from walking to job sites to hands-on involvement in problem-solving. Our commitment to being hands-on extends beyond the office, as you'll often find us in crawl spaces, working alongside our employees, and actively participating in the construction process.
Additionally, we prioritize sourcing materials from local businesses, further bolstering the island's economy and fostering a sense of community. Every choice we make in the process of working with you is deeply rooted in our sense of place - on how we can elevate the island in a positive and sustainable way. Robbie Robinson, Co-Owner of Waterfront Builders, has construction in his blood, having grown up amidst job sites where the rhythm of building was a familiar melody. A native of Massachusetts, Robbie's journey led him to the serene shores of Martha’s Vineyard in 2009, where he found his true calling in the construction industry. Based in the office, Robbie serves as a linchpin between clients and design team, expertly weaving together the intricate pieces of each project to bring dreams to life.

Amanda Murtha brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as office manager and bookkeeper at Waterfront Builders, where she has been an integral part of the team since its inception. Hailing from Northern Virginia, Amanda's journey led her to Martha’s Vineyard in the summer of 2006, where she was captivated by the island's charm and decided to make it her year-round home.
